K C Tang Consultants Ltd. was established in February, 1995 by Mr. K.C. Tang.
Our quality management system has been certified to ISO 9001:2015 since 2003.
We have been included in Band 2 of the Quantity Surveying Category of the ArchSD’s List of Consultants of the Architectural and Associated Consultants Selection Board (AACSB) in 2003.
We have four qualified quantity surveyors supported by a staff of assistant quantity surveyors.
We have provided:
quantity surveying services for over 860 projects;
design and facilitation of 21 No. partnering / value management workshops; and
more than 80 No. cost expert reports to the Lands Tribunal for the purposes of the Land (Compulsory Sale for Redevelopment) Ordinance, CAP 545.
A lot of our projects undertaken by us are commissioned by repeat clients. This would at least demonstrate that our services have been satisfactory to be able to retain clients.

General Scope of Services
Preparation of estimates, import lists, cash flow tables;
Preparation of cost studies on alternative design;
Measurement of quantities;
Provision of advice on management of contracts and projects;
Preparation of standard documents for architects, engineers and contractors;
Translation of documents between Chinese and English;
Preparation of tender documents for individual projects;
Invitation of tenders, analysis of tenders and negotiation with tenderers;
Preparation of contract documents;
Valuation of work in progress and recommendation for payments during the course of construction;
Provision of cost advice on proposed variations during the course of construction;
Preparation of report on financial status of the project during the course of construction;
Resolution of claims and disputes;
Negotiation and settlement of final accounts.
